Your Merchant Center account isn't linked to a verified and claimed store website.

Why it matters

Products can't serve until the website is verified and claimed.

Common causes on Shopify

The domain was never verified, or verification was lost after a theme change removed the HTML tag.
An old or duplicate Merchant Center account (sometimes created by an agency or an earlier Shopify connection) already claimed the URL.
Merchant Center has www.yourstore.com but products link to yourstore.com, or the reverse.
The person verifying isn't an admin in both Merchant Center and Search Console.

How to fix it

1Use your Shopify Google & YouTube channel to verify and claim the domain automatically, or
2In Merchant Center, go to Business info → Website and verify with an HTML tag, Google Analytics, Tag Manager or Search Console.
3Make sure the website in Merchant Center is the same domain your product links use (e.g. flagclear.com vs www.flagclear.com).

How to stop it coming back

Verify through the Google & YouTube channel or Search Console rather than a theme tag that can be removed by a theme change.
Keep a list of every Merchant Center account linked to your domain.
